BRUSH SELECTION SYSTEM
Use these simple steps in determining which wire brushes will best serve
your instrument cleaning needs.

PART 1: INSTRUMENT SPECIFICATIONS
A. What is the maximum length of the instrument(s) to be cleaned?
Now add at least 2" (or 5cm) to that length so you have an adequate lenth to work with.

B. What is the inner diameter of the instrument?
Now add at most 1/8" (or 3mm) to determine the diameter of the bristle to ensure effective cleaning.
The bristle diameter has to slightly exceed the inner tube diameter. Bristles that are too large will be
bend too much and not clean effectively.

  • Up to 2000mm for Wire Brushes on plastic semi-rigid sheaths, rigid brushes from 5 to 20 mm in diameter
